Jayson Haiden is in the navy seal. He is a dog handler, and has his 2 dogs, Odin and Zeus. Odin has retired, but still lives with Jayson. Jayson and his team are about to get deployed, and the animal shelter Odin used to be at, when Jayson leaves has all of a sudden gone bankrupt, a week before deployment.
Jayson is desperate, so when his navy buddy, Ray, says his wife Nina, has a friend who just so happens to be both a Physiotherapist and a dogPhysiotherapist, needs a place to stay, and would gladly look after Odin if she can live at his place while he is deployed, he takes the offer.
what he did not expect was how beautiful Nina's friend would be, or that her letters and calls to him while he will be deployed, will be what he looks forward to the most.
Ellanora, has just finished her education as a dog Physiotherapist.
She has just landed a job in the USA navy-seal facilities as both a Physiotherapist for the navy men and women, and for their service dogs. but she needs a place to stay, while she tries to find her own. So when her childhood friend Nina comes along and offer that se can live in one of her husband navyseal buddies, while he is deployed, and all she needs is to takes care of his retired service dog, she takes it.
She just didn't know that Ray's navy friend would be like "a walking weet dream", and that what she comes to look forward to the most is his letters, and calls.
But what happens when Jayson comes back from deployment?
Raven Jocelynna is a fearless twenty-three-year-old woman who mostly stays to herself and doesn't create any kind of drama, she lives a peaceful life with her service dog, but upon getting an email saying she was invited to her best friend's summer bachelorette party, Raven drives down.
When pulling into the driveway, Raven feels something is off but sweeps it to the side and as she steps up onto the porch she unknowingly seals herself into a wild weekend.
Raven, expecting a couple of months of parties, laughs, and careless drinks to have a bittersweet farewell only instead sees the man she had a one-night stand with months prior standing just before her, but now as the man, her best friend is about to marry; Caiden Boyd.
Caiden comes with his own large baggage but however that may be, he is still just as charming and sexy as ever with his light blonde hair and chiseled face. Raven tries her hardest to stay away from Caiden but Caiden seeks Raven out creating a wild explosion of events. One of those events led to none other than Holten Harrison who is completely different from Caiden and more down-to-earth.
Only this just confuses Raven even more. Raven wanted love in her one-night stand, but as soon as she gets a taste of the man she thinks she had fallen for months ago, Raven ends up meeting another man who shows her what real love could be like between them.
Is a one-night stand tough enough and strong enough to overpower true passion? Is love futile when you know it really won't work out in the end? Can you earn love even after you've burned a lifelong bridge? Is love worth it all if you risk the one solid friendship you've ever had?
