She's free yet stuck

Amalthea also known as Thea is from an adoption centre with a bunch of other kids. She's 16 so none of the parents want to choose an older child. Recently the same men come and adopt 15-17 year old teenagers from the adoption centre .Coming back every 1-2 months she knows something up but she doesn't question it she didn't think they'd pick her she's soft gentle to the eye and to the name. Amalthea meaning "to soothe, to soften." She helps around the adoption centre and helps handle he little kids. When she finally gets free for the day the flower field behind the adoption centre calls her name. She takes a book every time but when she's called inside reasonably earlier then normal she takes a turn in a different direction.
