...You barely remembered life before The Foot Clan. Before Shredder. Sometimes memories of your mother come to you in small bits and pieces but never enough. You and Karai were both raised under Shredders guidance and supervision. She was, of course, the Golden Child.
It didn't matter if you were overshadowed by Karai. That didn't sever your bond with her in the slightest. You were both as close as can be, competitive but affectionate. Sisters.

(Better story inside.) This is AU story. There mutants and humans live together but the relationship between them isn't the best. Leonardo is painted turtle. Raphael is red eared slider. Donatello is razorback musk turtle. Michelangelo is chinese softshell turtle. I write warning here so it won't be a shock: turtles aren't truly brothers and Splinter is only a sensei. It is just "what if" thing. Raph and Leo are step brothers and the story focuses on those two as they deal with family drama.
