Heads or tails. You didn't get to pick. The fallout did that for you. Once Chernobyl's reactor blew, your destiny was sealed in the worst hell imaginable.
The world is led to believe civilians and their families within the Soviet held territory were safely evacuated from the city surrounding the power plants disaster. But everybody living close to the containment zone knew better than to believe the Russians, as they struggled to cover up the sinister truth. A city sealed from the outside world. Horrific starvation. Tragic illness. Rampant violence. A crumbling political structure. Gang oppression. To top off the shit sandwich, a dark mystery that has unfolded upon the people of Pryp'yat' from the secret crypts of the nuclear reactor.
If you hadn't become a walking timebomb riddled with radiation sickness, a genetic fugitive gifted with some ludicrous superpower out of a comic strip, or a flesh rotting nightmare prowling the streets of Pryp'yat', chances are you were running for your fucking life.
With the Soviets losing control of the containment area and resorting to more violent means against the innocent, Ande is surprisingly thrusted into the thundering eye of one of the single biggest, modern day guerrilla wars the world would never know.
Not that she really minded of course. Fighting the infamous Red Army of mother Russia sounded a little more high speed. And exactly the type of fun she's been looking for nowadays!
But how well is she going to keep tabs on tracking down a Communist Battalion Commander? All the while avoiding Soviet Special forces, The Elect, the local Pryp'yat' Police Department, and the shadows lurking in The Pit of the nuclear reactor, as they all search from one end of the containment zone to the other looking to serve her head on a silver platter.
Easy... with hard liquor. How else?

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)

Yuriy must make his way to the Zone, evading military patrols along the border of the ecological disaster zone, steer clear of anomalies able to crush an APC to the size of a tin can or reduce a man to fragments with explosive force, and establish himself in one of the several factions observing loose alliances or vendettas with each other as they further their own goals in the Zone. Along the way, Virtue makes some friends and enemies while experiencing the horrors of the Zone first-hand. While on a mission, his team and him discover disturbing evidence that sheds new life on the supposed accidental explosion in Reactor 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. {COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.
