Gale has always been able to manipulate her dreams at will until a recent dream landed her in The Dreaming. On a mission to find out more about why she's able to change dreams at will, as well as her parents' mysterious deaths when she was a teenager, she looks to befriend and work with Morpheus in order to do so.

However, as she gets to know Morpheus, the world she knows today begins to flip upside down. Who she is, where she comes from, and circumstances surrounding her parents death cause destruction in worlds beyond The Dreaming and the living.
