A lost lonely girl is hated by all including her mother, who  out of "love", uses the small girls naivety to manipulate her into believing all the horrible words her mother tells her. When the mother snaps, the girl is sent away to a school where she'll understand more about her magic. 

Erebus, a forgotten god, didn't intend to become invested in understanding the new small girl that everyone seems to despise. However, he finds himself watching her from the shadows, feeling things he hasn't felt in millennials. 

Will the girl be too naive to understand the tall boys liking towards her, will she allow her mothers teachings to get in the way of something that could be beautiful.
