After finishing mechanics school, Y/N moves to Puerto Lobos for a fresh start, settling into a quiet life next door to Sean and Daniel Díaz. The brothers have built something stable after everything they endured, running Díaz Repair Shop together. Sean is easy to get along with-welcoming, warm, always cracking jokes. Daniel, though? He's distant, closed off, and impossible to read.
As a mechanic herself, Y/N finds reasons to spend time at the shop-offering help, checking in, hoping to break through Daniel's walls. But no matter how many times she shows up, he keeps her at arm's length, lost in something unspoken.
Still, she can't shake the feeling that beneath the cold stares and clipped responses, there's more to Daniel than he lets on. And she's not the type to give up easily.
Y/N and Daniel discover they aren't so different after all, as they both share a big secret. Thought they've handled their abilities differently, their struggles and fears mirror one another.
