Living a normal life as a working waitress. In her spare time, Alari Rebecca was alyways trying to make people laugh with her friend, Jack Napier, making a bad day good, but when something happens in Jack's life that he doesn't tell her about, she has this urge to go on a quest to help her one and only friend. Peaking in a little to much at his life, Alari later finds herself trapped in a nightmare she wants to get out of tragically, but never can find herself trying to. And she blames two people. One in particularly more than the other....

Growing up in a shit life was never easy, but when you have to fend for yourself in a city like Gotham, becoming a bit of a criminal is basically inevitable. She only had one friend and he was an orphan like her, but she never went into the system. She helped him get through life and though he didn't condone her life of crime he loved her just the same. He would sneak her in so she would have a place to sleep sometimes. Finally when she started to create a name for herself, he ended up pushing her away. Now the bats will enter a world so familiar to theirs, yet so different. Are they ready to meet the enemy of their new enemy? Is Gotham ready for a new type of war? Is the fate of the Bat family going to rest in the hands of a simple black armoured girl with far too many secrets? Can she even help, she just left a bloody battlefield. Some would say she's too broken to enter another. Can the bats, birds, hood, and this new figure defeat Talia and her allies? This summary sucks. My book isn't all that awsome either, so I'm sorry. I think it was going good in the beginning, but the plot just fell apart, I'm sorry. But if you still try and read it, thanks. It is while on patrol that Tim Drake and Damian Wayne spot this camouflaged girl of the night and try to stop her as she breaks into a local convenience store, not to steal the cash but the food. After obsessively tracking her for a week, Tim finally catches up with her, finding her holed up in an abandoned building with another younger girl she is trying to care for. Bruce Wayne doesn't hesitate to take them in, but Ria's mistrust of them leads to tension in the house. Her powers are dangerous, volatile and no matter how hard Tim tries, he can't get her to open up to him.
