"Fate brought you the bottle, not the currents."

Living literally ten feet away from the beach should be wonderful, but for Allison it isn't. It's a constant reminder of her secret; she can't swim. All that comes to her mind when she looks out her window into the pool of blue is the deadly creatures and the fact that you can't breath underwater. One day while walking along the coast, she comes across a note in a bottle. Once she finally gets around to opening it, she realizes that it's all unreadable except one part. The signature. For some reason, Nathaniel Harrings keeps popping up inside of her curious head.

She doesn't know who he is, where he lives, or if he's still around. But would that really stop her from finding him?

Anxiety-ridden, nightmare expert Charlotte 'Charlie' Jackson has been receiving witty, heartwarming, anonymous notes since the beginning of the school year. One afternoon, Charlie notices she did not find a note for the first time all year and suddenly gets the urge to figure out who writes them, and why they have been writing the notes to her. However, being awkward and antisocial, she can't bring herself to question anyone about them. As Charlie narrows down her list of possible note writers, she befriends her main suspects. While Charlie deals with the nagging question of who writes her the notes, she experiences late night phone calls, memorable sleepovers, and kisses from a boy who reminds her of the sea and the stars. • • • ✨ Read the completely edited version on SwoonReads.com and help me get published by rating it! link also in bio/search "a note a day" and it's the first option that shows up! https://www.swoonreads.com/m/a-note-a-day-2/✨ • • • | #26 in teen fiction, 4/3/16 | [a wattpad featured story, 3/7/16] [ copyright © Sophie Claflin, A.K.A Siriusly_fandoms 2015 All Rights Reserved ] **this is the unedited version, read it on swoonreads.com for the edited version. • • • [ GLORIOUS COVER BY - @aeroship; covers used before -@SurroundedByThorns, @akacute . . . Shadows of the Forsaken

6 parts Ongoing Mature

Ever since she could remember, the experiments had been part of her life. As a child, they were harmless-just puzzles and strange potions given to her by the woman she called Mother. Back then, she believed it was all a game, a way to make her smarter, stronger. But as she grew, the tests changed. They became invasive. Painful. Each experiment carved new scars into her skin and left her mind tangled in unanswered questions. The woman she once trusted had become a stranger, her warmth replaced by cold calculation. And then the voices started. A shadow lurked within her, whispering, clawing at the edges of her sanity. She wasn't alone in her own body-something else had been forced inside her. Something ancient. Something hungry. Now, she's free... but for how long? With the past chasing her and the monster inside threatening to take control, she's left with one question: Was she ever meant to survive, or was she only meant to become something else?
