Kingdom of dawn follows the story of Daisuke a young woodsman living a peaceful life in the mountains until he volunteered to join the army to fight against invaders who plan to take over the nation. Leaving his sick mother, sister and newly wedded wife behind with only a promise to make it back home alive, tests, trials and despair awaits this young warrior as he experience a different dimension of the world he once lived in.
In a war that never seems to end, lives are lost, mental and physical strength are constantly put to the test, surviving is the only goal.
