After saving Hyrule from the Calmaity, Link and Zelda head out on their journey to return the kingdom to its former glory. The one thing they didn't expect to happen after the disastrous events to follow the first attack of Gannon, was that his next, stronger attack, waiting for them in the darkness...and it's not what they thought. It is something that might end, the Kingdom of Hyrule for good.

How A Princess Fights.
When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. Between Timelines: A Legend of Zelda Fanfic
One year ago, Link defeated Ganon, freeing Zelda and saving Hyrule. After not having seen Link in many months, they are finally reunited at Zelda's coronation on her 18th birthday. The circumstances of their meeting, however, are not what either of them imagined. This story takes places between the end of the botw story line and the beginning of the totk story line, and tells the story of what happened in that time. Hyrule is threatened once again by Zant and Ganondorf, newly crowned, Queen Zelda is on the verge of surrender, and Link, the hero from Ordon Village is called for aid. Upon arriving at Castle Town, Link is immediately overwhelmed by the forces of monsters that have forced the townsfolk into hiding. He realizes that he will not defeat Hyrule's foes without help so he sets off for Kakariko Village to find allies. Y/n, a girl who lives in Kakariko Village was not well accepted in the village. You are an outsider, no one knows where you came from. Protecting those around you became something you dedicated yourself to. You trained yourself to fight in the graveyard for days until your body gave out and you'd start again. One day, Link finds you battling a lone goblin that has infiltrated the village by yourself. Impressed by your natural skill, he brings you along to gather more allies from all other villages. The more time the two of you spend with each other, you both slowly fall in love, then your deepest secret is revealed. *All character and village names go to Nintendo*

Hyrule is now only a word on a page to the people on the great sea. Even though Hyrule is lost to them, they still cling to old traditions. Link, the Hero of Hyrule, has just learned of Princess Zelda's fate after seeing the final dragon tear. Overcome with grief, he sets out to seek a legendary power, one he believes will guarantee Hyrule's victory...and his revenge. But will he lose himself in the process? Author's note: This story takes place during Tears of the Kingdom, right after Link discovers the last of the dragon tears. It combines elements from that story, in addition to some of my other favorite Legend of Zelda games. Though I generally try to stay true to lore, at times I made adjustments to help things flow.
