Poetry Of Life

Aaliyah Lewis feels unheard and alone. She has struggled with bullying all her life but things change when she enters high school. When she grew into curves at a young age, she learned she must have thick skin to survive. But Aaliyah feels she is alone and can only trust herself so she pours her pain onto the pages of a notebook. She experiences new feelings and emotions and with her surrounding environment, Aaliyah understands that it's best to keep her feelings to herself.
