After slaying Cadell and discarding Nico, Arthur is confronted with his worst nightmare. Before him is Agrona and even worse, Tessia. At least he wishes it was her, but, alas, it's a different childhood friend.
Unable to kill Cecilia once more and refusing to cause harm to Tessia's body, Arthur does the only thing left: he whisks Cecilia away.
Now gone from the Victoriad and with Cecilia in tow, Arthur heads back to Dicathen and a new story unfolds.

However, as he started the ritual to reincarnate the legacy, Agrona Vritra hadn't yet realized how much he had underestimated the legacy's power. Waking up from the ritual, Tessia finds herself 15 years in the past with the lingering power of the legacy and a new-found determination to save Dicathen from the Vritra. But, as she begins her journey, she hasn't yet realized that she isn't the only thing that changed. People, goals, powers and intentions changed, turning the world into something much different than what she used to know.
