Growing up you were smart. Took care of yourself, focused in school, and helped others when you could. Sadly, despite how well-liked you could have been, you weren't very popular, a regular bullying target. Your love life? Sad really, you had been used so much in your short lifetime, you don't do dating anymore. Guess focusing in school wasn't so smart, huh? Now you are 25 and your father is getting you a job. When you were younger you didn't know much about his job, but you did know he was important. He offered you a job at the SCP foundation, how fun. You're worried but are ready to do your best. Your father has taught you about a few of them for safety but... the more you learn about them the more scared you start to get. But at least a few of them are nice. Right?

In the world where a mysterious, government-funded organization hides anomalies from the civilians, one of their subjects manages to escape. After losing the Foundation's pursuit she accidentally falls into a deeper hole, as another organization attempts to hunt her down. In a world where she doesn't trust anyone aside from her fellow SCPs, who aren't there to save her, she meets someone, who manages to save her from certain death. Knowing humanity's worst side, she is reluctant to accept the help, but is forced to due to the circumstances. Will she manage to trust again? Or is her past going to drag her down? The SCP Foundation had a containment breach, and one of their SCPs managed to escape. Of course, similar things happened in the past multiple times, and O5s were familiar with situations like this. What made this matter an emergency though, was the fact that the escaped object is a keter, and a rather sadistic one. They have to use everything they can to try and find her before she kills anyone. Very quickly however, they realize that finding her is going to take longer than initially expected... New chapters are published on Sundays according to the CET timezone. Constructive criticism and comments are highly appreciated. Warning! As of the moment of writing this, the story contains graphic depictions of violence, which are severe enough to classify this story as "mature". Depending on which ending I choose for this story, more warnings may apply in the future which will further solidify the "for adults" classification.

"He looked at me, leaning in, his breath more rancid than the smell of death itself. In his mouth he didn't possess the razor-sharp, clean teeth that would glow a ghostly white in the darkness. Instead, his teeth were disgusting. They were yellow, broken, and cracked. One of them was almost completely gone, and his bloody gums were starting to grow over it. He had a large overbite due to the jaw line of his bird-like face, his upper teeth digging bloody holes into his lower gums. It looked excruciating, but I could see in his eyes that he enjoyed the pain he received, thrived off of it. He cracked a smile at me, like greeting an old friend. We made eye contact while he stared down at me, his hollowed out eyes like soul-sucking pits dragging me in deeper until I disappear. A pit formed in my stomach as a chill ran down my spine. I couldn't help but picture him digging into a human excitedly, his teeth cracking on the bones of his meal as he enjoyed each, single part. My throat became dry; my tongue felt like sandpaper scraping against the top of my mouth. My mind became fuzzy. I had no chance of survival against this, this thing, and It was toying with me.
