This episode happens after the Psychomedian episode in Season 4. So Hawkmoth is Shadowmoth,  Mr Pigeon has been given a magical charm so there is a whole new villain to open the special and Ladybug is guardian of the miracle box. 

Please read my Lukanette version of Season 4 up to Psychomedian so any references to previous episodes in this special will make sense.
