||"A lover's eyes will gaze an eagle blind.
A lover's ear will hear the lowest sound,
When the suspicious head of theft is stopped.
Love's feeling is more soft and sensible
Than are the tender horns of cockled snails.
. . .
And when love speaks, the voice of all the gods
Make heaven drowsy with the harmony."||

He found himself thinking that he would be content to listen to the sound for the rest of his life. "Thank you, beautiful." The Alpha responded quickly, motioning to one of his pack members to pick it up. "You have very good hearing." "Well, I guess it's compensation" She chuckled slightly, "I mean, these don't do me any good." She gestured towards her eyes, turning more towards where the sound of his voice had originated from. Fate in his hands
Still mourning from the untimely death of her mother, and a week before leaving the Nassau county with her best-friend, and with that, everything else she had ever known, Sol find herself wrongfully charged and incarcerated for the murder of a member of her family. Already depressed at the idea of her once-promising future now marred by the bleak confine of a prison cell, she now also has to the deal with the fact that she has just caught the eyes of a man, whose power and reputation for brutality alone precede him. ....... "Little flower" , He said, his fingers gently tilting my head up to look at him. "Yes", I breathlessly exhaled "If you ever speak to me like that again, I will rip your fucking throat out.", He continued with a terrifying smile. ...... - And because his ancestors were never picky about their business endeavours, partly due to their direct ties to royalty, and due to their connections to upper-class members of the justice system in Europe and eventually in North America and Asia, the man's family had been direct benefactors of both world wars due to their involvement in the weapon industry, and as suppliers of the adrenaline-pumping drug both the Germans and the French/Americans were injecting in their soldiers before sending them to battle. It's safe to say the man's power knew no bound or restrain. Power that carried through with every single one of the man's actions. Indeed, The man never yelled and never raised his voice, he never had to. The man was curt in his speech. His deep, raspy, baritone voice almost always resonated through with the same monotonous tone. Unless it was to handle his bi-daily entertainments, which were often eccentric in genre and deriving from eclectic sources. It was only then, you'd see the man's eyes twinkle with amusement, frequently at the expense of others. - ______ WARNING [Contains mature, potentially triggering content]
When The Pieces Fall
She moved with a certain thoughtfulness about her. Every step was placed gently. Whether this is to disappear from those around her or to protect the wounds they inflicted was unknown but, either were understandable for someone in her position. To have and hide an abusive mate was unbearable. Especially when it's him you're hiding it from. Omega had been beaten into her until she had forgotten her own name. Finding out her tormentor was her mate broke her. With the constant inhumanities of her life, she believed herself worthless. So worthless she didn't believe she deserved her mate. Rejection is a cruel thing. Rejecting your Alpha mate is even worse. Book 1 The art I used as the starting point for the cover was done by Antonio Mora .Complete
The Twist of Mate
Scarlet Montgomery lived her life as the pack slave. She was left Omega after her parents ditched her to become rogues. She is constantly tormented not only by the other pack members but by the Alpha himself. When she meets her mate on her eighteenth birthday, things take an unexpected turn that seem to leave her life in a downward spiral. She becomes more and more defeated with each awful instance sent her way. Will she be able to escape or will she be eaten alive by the wolves that she was thrown to? ************ Trigger warning! There is graphic content, abuse, violence, sexual violence, strong language...etc. If you can't handle any of those things, shy away from the book! Thank you ************ Excerpt: "You know, wouldn't it be fucked up if we were mates?" My face scrunched up, not only in disgust but worry about where he was going with his question. It would be the worst thing that I could imagine. There was a chance that if we were mates that he would lighten up and become the loving mate the moon goddess would have intended but that was a very slim chance. "Do you know what I would do if we were mates?" I shook my head; I didn't just mean it as I didn't know but I didn't want to know. He would probably reject me in the worst possible way he could think of. Or he would use the bond against me. I was already his slave but maybe there was something else that he could do that my innocent mind just couldn't conjure because I wasn't anything like him. I held my humanity close to me as if it would save me in the long run. I refused to be anything like my tormentors and I kept as true to myself as I could. He turned his body towards mine and I could see he was smirking at me but I got a bad feeling. "I would fuck you as hard as I possibly could and then I would kill you. You don't deserve to be a part of this pack but we need slaves just like any other. You truly disgust me and I hope that whoever your mate is rejects you. You're a sorry excuse for a she-wolf."Complete
Rejected At First Sight (Spinoff Series)
*Rejected at First Sight* Spin-off series (By GirlWhoChasesRainbow) 🌶 "Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hits a wall. I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people in this place. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.Complete
