Have you ever wondered what it would be like to betray your only real friends? Merope Cowell has been friendless her entire life as far as she can remember. She was stuck at an orphanage for most of it, being forced to smile for people who only do so out of pity for her, for the helpless little orphan who looks like she was attacked by a dog. So you could imagine when some odd people who claim to be able to use magic take her "home" and force her to go to a magic school tell her to betray the only people she knows she can trust, to become a cold hearted backstabber, that she would want to refuse. She wants to, but her "father" whom abandoned her when she was young demands for her to spy.
She becomes helplessly entangled in a net of love for the nicest person she's ever met. The only problems are he's in Gryffindor and she's in Slytherin. As for her father? He's Voldemort.

Warning: If you haven't read the Tightly Knit Series, read the other books first before continuing on or read at your own risk! Clara Easton had a more than decent life before the start of the Second Wizarding War. Upon her first year she was sorted into Hufflepuff, made friends and enjoyed her schooling for the first few years. She was kind soul and described as beautiful by her peers . She lived up to traits of her house dedicating herself to working hard and remaining loyal to those she loved, especially when the Battle of Hogwarts arrived. She, along with hundreds of other students remained at the castle to defend their school and secondary home against the Dark Lord and his followers. During the battle, Clara fought bravely, but it wasn't enough to save her from the damaging scars she received from a werewolf attack. She was thankful to survive the attack, but it left her with scars that she could not hide from her peers. At first, she wanted to hide herself from the world, but the need to complete her education brings her back to Hogwarts once more where she ends up seeing a person she least expected to return. Draco's seventh year didn't go exactly how he envisioned it would, with the responsibilities of a Death Eater looming over his head, Draco felt like he never got to experience his seventh year properly. He returns to Hogwarts, fully aware that his previous actions have left him with a tarnished reputation that he is certain he cannot recover from. At least not without a little help and the last place he thought he would find help would be from a Hufflepuff. Slowly, the two students realize that second chances are not given to make things right. But are given to prove that one can be better even after they fall. *Part of the Tightly Knit series*

[PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18] "You're kind of like a Safe Haven, you know?" "How long have you been waiting to make that pun?" "You have no idea" Haven Goldspear, an orphan of the War like so many others, was left alone. Both parents killed in the two Wizarding Wars, no direct family she still had contact with, and the fellow Hufflepuffs who could barely be called 'friends'; she was utterly alone in the world. Her coping techniques would probably be discouraged if she went to a therapist but those small acts of her exploding anger were the only things that could keep her going. That, and the newfound friendship she made at Hogwarts when she returned, along with most of the others from her year, as eighth-year students. Harry was grateful for the support the Weasleys had given him over the months but they didn't understand. Their situations were completely different even though they went through the same trauma. Everything angered Harry, he felt alone - weird considering how packed The Burrow was - and the fact that Ron and Hermione sneaked off to Ron's room at least once a day did not help. Maybe Haven's coping techniques weren't therapist-recommended and rarely safe, but it helped them to release all their anger and frustrations. Not only on glassware and walls, but on each other. [BOOK 2] ____________________ "Whatsss that you've got there?" "Who's there?" "Up here, human." "Y-you're a snake!" "A grasss snake. Well obssserved. And you, are a human." _______________________ During the summer away from Hogwarts, Aludra makes an exciting discovery; she can talk to and understand snakes. While her parents make speculations and theories as to how this is possible, they fail to notice that Aludra is going through the physical, emotional and mental changes necessary in becoming a teenage girl. At school, she suddenly finds herself in a whirlpool of confusion, embarrassment and shame like she's never felt before. All of her deepest, darkest secrets and fears are rising to surface, and just as Aludra feels like she's going to have a break down, she remembers the black, leather diary she saw her father slip into Ginny Weasley's cauldron in August. She decides to confide in it, and soon discovers that it is inhabited by the memory of a boy named Tom Riddle. Tom is kind and patient. He listens to all her problems and offers helpful advice. He tells her that she's smart, funny and beautiful - in that exact order, too. Soon, Aludra begins to depend on Tom like a drug. Little does she know, Tom has already been using her as a life source.
