After LBD got defeated by Monkey King and Red Son. A piece of her soul flee and merges with an infant (MK). It's now Mayor and Macaque responsibility to raise the last remaining of LBD's soul.

Successor AU (Monkie Kid story)
Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy.
