Ten years before the events of BloodFire, Vered retells the story of how he become known as the God of Chaos and the Crimson Fox, and why almost all the other Royal dragons are gone. Beginning with his attempt to abolish slavery in the lower kingdom to his subjugation at the hands of a sadistic Celestial, to when he was driven to cause a worldwide catastrophe.
