The Fall of Beacon left many of its survivors with indelible scars. Most of all, Anon Hope. His body bears the scars of the Fall of Beacon but despite his new disabilities, his work is not yet done. The traitors in the Wizard's Circle must be hunted down and the Witch's Cabal must burn. He Called Hope lives but he is now changed, as the fire in his eyes bears a dark spark that threatens to corrupt his judgement. But as the heroes of this story are scattered, Hope has no choice but to go alone through the wilderness of Anima to meet faces, old and new, and regroup with his most cherished people.
