However, due to circumstances beyond his control, he will soon have to face unknown threats that inhabit the Canopy Kingdom and New Meridian. These specific groups of organizations like the Medici Mafia and The Anti-Skullgirl Labs are supposedly prepared for everything... But what happens when he runs into so many... The year is 2035, alien drop pods have fallen out of the sky and destroyed major cities, alien troops known as Hostile Alien Lifeforms (HAL) expanding like a swarm of locusts. In the Edmonton Impact Zone (EIZ), an outpost known as Ariadne has been built, like other outposts its function is to study the HALs and defend humanity. In the midst of the chaos, can love be found, or will the aliens crush it just like everything else? However, they have different names now. The Ringleader - The Bearer The Samurai - The Guardian The Archer - The Improviser The Batter - The Runner The Kid - The Medic Mutants are creatures that look human but have one distinct characteristic that proves their true from. It's their eyes. Look into an abyss of blues with rows of symbols circling around the pupil to know the truth. The only way to beat them is to destroy the heart. Once found out, the mutants turn to their real form. They become beasts of legend. Serpants that dwell deep in the sea. Lizards that grow in size and take flight to the skies. Hounds that double or triple in size and spew the elements. And many more shapes, colors, and sizes. Once transformed the heart is shown involuntarily, simply dangling around the neck like a pendant.
