After being defeated by a girl in a debate competition, he turns to scheming a hurtful revenge towards her by asking out her guy crush.  The revenge plan gets changed by her crush, where he demands to inherit Corey's inheritance as his future spouse, In exchange of pretending to be Corey's boyfriend.
