And the humans and mermaids lived in harmony. However, the humans were hungry for power. And they believed that the mermaids had magical powers. So, they wanted to hunt down every. Last. One. They eliminated all of the mermaids, but little did they know that the mermaids had children, in hope to keep the legacy alive. The children have a lot ahead of them.
