A Girl And Her Tree

When I was young, I planted a tree in my yard. That tree became my safe space. I knew whatever I told it would never leave that spot. All the secrets I shared, all the tears that were shed under it, I will forever hold dear to my heart. Over time the bond I shared with it became unbreakable. At times it truly felt like the tree was listening to me, and giving me comfort when I needed it the most. Although our bond was unbreakable, everything comes to an end...
