At the age of just four, King Mardolf of Britannia took Dean Winchester in as his ward. Mostly because of the death of one of his knights. A ward stayed in the custody of a lord until the age of maturity. For Dean, however, it didn't seem like that. To him, all the king did for him was not only take care of him, but each time King Mardolf would bring a new lord into the castle, making for a higher bidder. 

Things changed when a king from another part of the country came into the picture and put out a bid for Dean. Now forced to live with the ruthless King Henfrey and his son, Dean tries to live in Henfrey's court but things spiral out of control as soon as he heard a ruthless plot that Henfrey put in place, finding an ally in Henfrey's son, Sam, the two must now work together to stop this ruthless plan from unfolding. 

With everyone after him, Dean must now face the harsh realities of being a king's ward and the price that it's willing to cost him. But how much is he going to risk in order to not only avoid capture but also stop Henfrey? Read: "The King's Ward" to find ouAll Rights Reserved
