Warrior cats, what if Rusty decided to stay a kittypet?

To all those warrior fans everywhere (I am definitely one myself) have you ever wondered what would have happened if Rusty thought the forest was too dangerous? That it would take too much work needing to catch his own food, and constantly be put in danger from sickness, hunger, and battles? Well this is what I believe would be the result of that.
