Gambling addict Amelia Walker was orphaned at a young age, and was never told anything about her true parents. Without the knowledge of her past, she doesn't realize the dangers of the world around her, even the dangers of the eerie Crowley Brothers. She is thrown into a mind game of a world that shouldn't even exist, and discovers her part in it's creation. The more she discovers about her past, the more she finds out about the poison that pumps from her heart and thrives in her veins. With her new enemies, she must discover that Love is Humanity, and Jealousy is Insanity.

Amelia knows she is different. Her father is the well reknown angel; Gabriel, God's right hand. Her brother is a golden haired, chiseled replica who similarly excels in obeying orders and living godly. Then there is her mother, Victoria. The most beautiful angel ever to exist. She has lushous golden hair that falls in waves, perfect blue eyes with flecks of silver and a figure that attracts men and women alike to her presence. She is the epitome of grace and calm nature, never bending a single rule. Amelia, like her family, excels in all she does. However her ink black hair quickly gives away her oddities from her golden family. She naturally beats out all her peers; in schooling, singing, dancing-everything. But unlike the rest of the angels who remain gracious when they win she is quick to gloat. She loves doing things best. She challenges everyone to think beyond their daily tasks. She is mockful of their passive nature, most of all Victoria. As a sixteen year old all Amelia wants to do is drop to earth below to take part in missions. She is bored of the heavens, bored of the flustery angels tsking behind her back when her temper slips, frustrated by her father's embarrassment of her different nature and spiteful of her mother's meekness and distance. As she views the earth below she feels drawn to the odd sensation of thrill that tingles through her at the chaos exploding below her. As Amelia engrosses herself in the actions below on earth Victoria watches her from afar. Though Victoria's composure appears serene her blue eyes gleam with deeper knowledge and understanding at the peril her daughter is feeling. Victoria knows Amelia will need to fall further than earth to unearth the secret that holds the answer to who she really is. She will soon learn Victoria's secret.Complete

The Marquess of Winchester
Amelia's been on the streets since she can remember. She was abandoned by her mother on the doorstep of an orphanage run by nuns and was later thrown out of there too due to her unruly and 'unladylike' behaviour. She's been surviving on the streets for many years, stealing for food, rummaging in bins for clothes, scraps of metal or wood, which she uses as makeshift appliances, decorations and weapons. She's had a tough life, but it's made her into the strong, independent and fiery woman she is today. Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil. They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil. Along the way, they recruit five other individuals each experienced in a different area of magic. Who will love and who will hate?
