Seemingly "useless" daughter of Apollo Bianca Kane has the chance to go on a quest with her friends. Seeing this as a chance to prove that she isn't useless, she accepts, only to be subjected to a whirlwind of events that wouldn't have happened if she had stayed home.
                                                                          ---
"But Lady Nike.. I'm useless." she answered back, tilting her head. She was still confused on why the Goddess of Victory was here, let alone on why she wanted the girl's help.
"No, child. You simply have not earned your own wings yet." the goddess of victory replied, spreading her wings out. "And for that, I cannot help you, but I will tell you this: I believe in you." And with that, the goddess of Victory was gone, leaving the girl standing in awe.

That girl: a Black butler fanfic; COMPLETED by CucumberLionfish
26 parts Complete
Celeste Constantine is no normal girl, not even in modern day standards. It's 2020 and Celeste lives in a small apartment, with her cat Smile and her young daughter Aria. But that's not what makes Celeste different from others, what makes her different is that her father is the Greek God Apollo, and as such had inherited his powers. You'd think having powers would make her life easy, but it's been anything but easy. Her mother was a human who hated her daughter and abused her, her father would come and go and was never really there for her. As an adult life is not much better, the only thing that truly makes her happy is her daughter Aria, and watching anime; specifically Black Butler. However one day, while Celeste was watching Black Butler, the TV started to glow brighter and brighter until the whole room was enveloped in white light and she felt herself being pulled in. Her daughter called out to her, but Celeste couldn't reach her in time. When the light faded, Celeste found herself in a forest all alone. She wandered around until she found herself on the streets of London, where she eventually bumped into a tall man dressed in a butlers outfit and a young boy at his side. Celeste almost fainted from seeing them; she was face to face with characters from her favorite anime! Ciel Phantomhive offered Celeste room and board at his manor, as long as she worked for him as a maid. Knowing she needed a place to stay until she could find a way back home, Celeste accepted the offer. Taking up residence with Ciel at the Phantomhive manor, Celeste began her journey. The Butler and Ciel are confused by her strange behavior and way of speaking and even more confused by her lack of willingness to talk about herself to them. The Butler is interested and the earl is suspicious. Just who is this strange girl that they've brought into their home? And what is she hiding? * I own nothing but the OC's and plot.
