Familial outcast, rake, and general public menace Gregory Lawrence finds himself sent away from his home for good after causing a fiasco before an arranged marriage between himself and a girl he hardly knows. For his hubris and the shame he brings the family, he is forced to live in a dilapidated and overgrown mansion in the woods by a small town called Tortoise Creek, where there are more livestock than people. With only his butler, Jeeves, on his side, he quickly spirals into the darkness of his own mind. However, he has one hope- the mysterious creature who sings lullabies deep in the forest may hold the key to his salvation.
