I was 6 years old at the time, two years younger than Dick, he was like my brother. His family sort of took me in after the circus had stopped in Russia. Mary and John had taught me along side Dick in trapeze, I wasn't near as good as they are but I was learning slowly to get there but really I was learning to fire dance. Now that I was good in, learning faster and greater skill in. I've been practicing the trapeze when also fire dancing. I was only there for two years. Then that infamous stop in Gotham caused everything came crashing down. I made a promise, swore to his mother I would protect Dick. And when the time came the very next night I made good to that promise. THEY came and tried to take him. I stopped THEM. And I didn't see Dick again for a very, very long time.
