After hundreds of years of Eris's existence, she has found herself in an undesirable position and dragged into a situation that will finally make her existence more interesting.
After her creator's murder, Eris has continued to walk this earth until will rid of her. Stuck in a loop of travel, drinking and hanging out with her old friend, Jackman, an old friend of his is in town to visit requesting assistance and sharing news of abnormally large numbers of disappearance of their kind.

Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time. All of it was destroyed when many years later the new vampire and werewolf kings both wanted to rule over the kingdom alone. A massive war broke out between the vampires and the werewolves and millions of lives were lost.
