'The gnarly branches are scratching the exposed parts of my body as I run, but I don't care, I need to get away from it. I increase my pace but I stumble, falling on my knees. No! It's here. I crawl backwards but It's on top of me. The grotesque beast has me in it's hold and there is no escape. As it drags me back with it, I let out an ear piercing scream,

Valerie is awake.
It's the same nightmare again. Any other night she would have just accepted it as her overactive imagination but tonight, she wonders if it is a twisted memory coming to surface of something burried deep.
