Isabelle Lewis has always dreamed of attending Freedmont School of Dance, an elite boarding school for talented dancers. But Isabelle's dreams come crashing down with difficult classes, loads of rehearsals, strict teachers, jealous bullies, and to top it all off she's almost 3,000 miles away from her home.

So when Isabelle gets casted the lead part in the Nutcracker she doesn't know what to do. Some of the girls are constantly bashing her dancing, her teachers are assigning more homework than ever, and her ballet teacher just won't put her En Pointe! To top it all off her partner just happens to be really cute.

How can she handle her emotions but still keep up with her classes and fulfill the challenging role. It's going to take some serious luck, perseverance, and support from her friends to make this work.
