In the world, there were two kinds of people. First, the Extraordinary, also known as the Superpowered. Another less grandiose term for these people were Powered Individuals. 

Then there were the other group. The less common group. The Unextraordinary. Also known as the Non-powered, or simply as the Powerless.

Kara hated all those terms with a fiery passion, but saying anything less would be considered rude. Personally, she thought that the so-called Extraordinary had extraordinarily big heads.

Or; in a world of superheroes and supervilians and century old prejudices, nine teenagers manage to qualify for a prestigious hero school. Except I don't really care for that, and instead write backstory and slice of life stuff.
