Liam is your everyday nerd who likes to watch cartoons and anime, his favourite being Avatar: The Last Airbender. He always wanted to be on such an adventure and help those he could help, being an engineer and all, and his vast knowledge of the sciences was inspiring, though he never again will he go to school, personal learning is much better.
What would happen if we were to take said, Liam and put him in said world hmm?

PS: This is my take on ATLA and my wish that could help others in ATLA this should change the timeline quite a bit.

We all know and love the story of Avatar the last Airbender, but what if things were a little different? What if Prince Zuko was the Avatar? This simple question throws the entire Avatar world for a spin. Let's start with a summary shall we? With the disappearance of the avatar after the death of Avatar Roku, the world watched in horror as 3 more fell after him. The airbenders were all wiped out and so went the air nomad avatar. The southern water tribe had all of its benders taken and killed, along with the avatar of water. The earth kingdom has been sacked for decades by an onslaught of firebenders. On the battlefield, the firelord himself slew the avatar in vicious combat. Now the world has all but lost hope as a new Avatar has yet to be discovered anywhere in the world. Many believe that the cycle has ended, others believe that there was no Avatar. A new one would rise from the unlikeliest place possible, from the throne room of the firelord himself. (zuko x oc) Born in the Western Temple, Nara got her tattoos at 11 years old, becoming the youngest person to ever be a master in Air Nomad history. Born with a true talent, the Southern Temple noticed her abilities. They had an "important" student on their hands, and now that this student's master was getting too old and frail to continue his lessons, they requested she taught the kid instead. She moved from home at 14 years old to live at the Southern Temple, and train the avatar himself. Life was great, she loved her student and enjoyed watching him grow. But after a certain threat, Aang ran away, and Nara followed him not knowing how history would play out for her and the young avatar. When she wakes up after 100 years, she's absolutely devastated by the loss of her family, and this new world of war to navigate. She meets two Water Tribe siblings, who join her and Aang's journey to master the elements and end whatever the Fire Nation started.
