Balance had been restored to the Living Force - the Unifying and Cosmic still reeling from the deaths of untold thousands. But the Parent, bereft of his Children in that Galaxy, sends a warning to a following time. Their schemes are not worth their Children's lives. And so, the Son and the Daughter, of a time before-yet-after, contrive a plan. They do not need a powerful Force sensitive, or a chosen one. They do not need someone ordained by fate or part of a holy Dyad.

They needed someone ordinary - someone who would change the Galaxy simply by refusing to die. Jon Antilles was too cautious and stubborn to jump through the Force vergence, and Quinlan Vos too reckless and in-the-thick-of-it to follow any set plan.

But maybe, instead, they could push someone (Some people...) into the space between time by accidentally-on-purpose.

(Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, who has outlived everyone he has ever loved, is not amused.)

An AU where Darth Vader found out he had a son, intercepted Obi-Wan on his way to Tatooine, and took Luke. To keep him safe from the Emperor, he hid him away on Arvala-7, where years later Din Djarin would land to collect a bounty on a 50-year-old child. Having never seen the galaxy except for what was visible from his singular window, Luke decides to go with the Mandalorian when he leaves. Specific story warnings at the beginnings of each chapter, but the biggest one is an ongoing theme of overcoming child abuse (though it is not explicit and not talked about often past the first couple of chapters) so I would like to share some resources: Abuse of any kind is never okay. For help with child abuse, please contact your local CPS hotline, or speak out to mandated reporters like teachers and doctors. They can help you and will keep you safe. If you suspect a child you know is being abused, contact CPS and do not attempt to handle the situation yourself unless it is an immediate emergency, in which case call 911 or your local emergency line. For help with domestic abuse, contact the domestic violence hotline. In America, this number is 800-799-7233 and they are available through both call and text in English and Spanish and have interpreters for over 200 other languages. Never hesitate to ask for help and leave a situation that is unsafe for you and your family. If you suspect that someone is being abused, you can try to encourage them to seek help, but sometimes it is better to just call help for them. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Star Wars: Knights Of The New Republic

12 parts Complete Mature

This is purely fanfiction. I've set this story in a timeline that does not clash with the movies or any of the expanded universe. It has been a thousand years since the Jedi returned and Galactic Empire was defeated. The Sith have been destroyed and sent back to the shadows of the galaxy. The Jedi have regained power and help the republic maintain the piece in the way of things. It has been years since a war has been fought. All seems to be at peace in public's eyes. But tensions are rising. People are beginning to resent the governing of the Republic. Riots and strikes are breaking out in the outer rim and are slowly rising elsewhere. The Jedi are frequently called upon to maintain order, but there seems to be imbalance in the force. More unrest rises on Coruscant as the Jedi feel an immense amount of power suddenly rise in the force. A mother holds her child, the young boy's power uncomprehended. The Jedi council feels his power and debates the best way to deal with it...
