Travis an aging white in & out of jail addict targets a fellow tenant's coins. Native American, Leon, while laid-off wants to buy groceries and pay the rent, rolling change saved since a boy, in improper change wrappers. Within the rolls a rare 1870 quarter is accidentally added, Leon seeks to retrieve it before lost to the banks. Leon's East Indian Neighbor Banita offers to help out financially, as they've been dating a couple years she's ready to take their relationship further. Seeing them around the building Travis sets out to win over the heart of Janise, a black woman who becomes tired of the unnecessary drama caused by his selfish actions.
