Amara Chase didn't want to be friends with Percy Jackson, much less go on a quest with him. But he was her only chance to prove that she was able to do more then just think. Having to live with the guilt of leaving her little sister Annabeth behind, and Thalia dying, she's a little messed up. Not as happy as she once was, throwing Percy Jackson into the mix was no the best thing to do. Though maybe Amara judged him to harshly at first. Though Amara's life gets even more complicated when Aphrodite decides to 'bless' Amara with a gift.

"Maybe it's because she was the only one who stayed," My voice broke. "You were Luke's friend, you" I pointed to Annabeth. "You loved him, but he, he was my brother. And I waited for you guys, so that we could be together again, so that we had each other, but you both left." I growled, tears pricked at the corner of my eyes.
