A child is practally abandaded by her mother to her loving father. who unforturnatly doesn't have the time for her. He works second shift some times third so she goes to the neighbors to eat breakfast sometimes. They understand. This is back in the '70s in a very close neighborhood. Everybody sticks together. This girl grows up to be a woman that is in an abusive marriage, and sometimes thinks thinks she deserves it. see how it all plays out.
