The legends daughter (A Sandlot story)

Luna Ruth's father Babe Ruth has taught her everything to know about life and baseball (If baseball wasn't already life). Babe Ruth died of cancer but before he died he told his daughter one last thing ," never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game" and Luna has been living by that for the rest of her life.

Luna is 13 living with her father's friend, Mr. Mertle and Hercules (their dog). For countless days she'd been hearing loud yelling behind the house and she began to grow curious. So one bright and sunny morning she walked behind her house and saw it was a baseball field, the sandlot, some people have called it.

So she did what any sane person would do, play baseball.

( this is my first story and grammar isn't really my best suit so don't judge me if I make any mistakes.)
