Lucille Orchid is a 15-year-old witch who lives in the Boiling Isles. Lucille's life wasn't anything special, in fact, downright horrible right when she was born. She never knew her father or mother, and he definitely didn't know who her little brother was, who is out somewhere, and she doesn't know where he is. Not able to make her own decisions, as she was a small infant, she was cast out and Edalyn Clawthorne took her in as if she were her own daughter. Lucille learns along the way, that she has more power than she realized she had been, after learning more about her family.

Life on the Boiling Isles is tough by default. Between the acid rain, demons and monsters running around, and magic, it's hectic. For anybody. But, even by Boiling Isles standards, I feel like my life got a little out of control these last few months. My name is Y/n Y/l/n. I'm sixteen. I'm in the Emperor's Coven working as a scout. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life.
