Humanity was isolated in the cold vacuum of space. Mankind had lost and was torn apart, all communications silent, their species on the brink of extinction.

However, people say when humans are pushed to the brink of collapse they tend to do the unthinkable, some even say humans are akin to cockroaches, no matter how hard you try to squish it, it will still live even when you cut off its head.

And so when the state of the art human warships failed against siren monsters they decided to make monsters of their own, and they were Kansens.

The embodiment of past modern ww2 ships that were upgraded to their space versions.
With their return humanity was able to fight back and gather under one banner to push back the threat of sirens.
Now, after a few years of little inactivity people think with the decrease in they would be gone forever.
if only they knew, 'WAR NEVER CHANGES' as it is just the calm before the storm.

But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The Smallest changes can Alter how history will play out. The Bigger question I would like to Ask... What will be the catalyst that starts the winds of Change THIS time?

Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? Disclaimer: This story has been written as a first-timer in the huge domain that is story writing. As such, expect amateur/beginner-typical mistakes in plot and writing, as I still have much to learn/perfect. Update: Greetings! If you read this, it means the story has been completed. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh.
