Elsher Dawson is a member of the wolf race, and one of their laws prohibits them from mixing with other races, particularly humans. However, because of his unwavering devotion to Solace Lennon, a young woman who smelled of roses, he disobeyed this rule. Until he had to kill one of his own to save her, he always defends her.

Elsher is a lone wolf exiled to Garea, a human-populated area that is also part of wolf territory because he was injured while on a mission.

He always goes outside to train because the environment is so monotonous and he wants to maintain his strength and abilities, but he avoids groups of people as much as possible.

He spared the young human woman till he always followed and kept an eye on her after spotting five males trying to take advantage of the helpless victim one day, even though it was against their law.

The law of the wolf also states that you must kill a human who has witnessed your power once.

The wolf council sent hunter wolves and assassins of their race to track down and murder Solace after she unintentionally witnessed the might of the son of one of the wolf councilors.

Will Elsher let Solace suffer the consequences of her actions, or will he slay his kind and betray his species to save the one who has caused him so much trouble?

Twist: Solace is not really a human, she is a mage. A mage who has lost her memory, her powers will only appear when she turned twenty-two.
