The commander and Shadow had been waiting for 10 minutes for his new partner to show up. Shadow was getting impatient. "What's taking her so long? I was told she's always on time." Commander wondered.
Shadow rolled his eyes. Suddenly a beautiful (f/c) (a/t) with (e/c) eyes came into the room her eyes fuelled with annoyance.
"Sorry I'm late, I couldn't find my way here." She said, no emotion in her voice or face.
"Didn't you take a map?" Commander asked. Shadow was now beginning to think this beautiful (a/t) was an idiot.
"Of course I did, but you can't read a map when it's coloured over with red crayons." She snapped, putting one of the maps in front of the Commander which Shadow saw was scribbled over with red crayons as the (a/t) had said.
The Commander stayed quiet for several moments. "Oh. I'm sorry, those new recruits don't know how to behave." Commander snarled throwing the map in the garage. "Anyway, Shadow the Hedgehog, meet (y/n) the (a/t). (Y/n) the (a/t), meet Shadow the Hedgehog."

This is far from a normal x reader book. (Y/n) has more story than just falling in love immediately. She has a past, family drama, friends that have drama, and of course, enemies. I think I have made a complete story with an actual beginning and an end. As well as a sequel and a prequel!

Around chapter 38-40 was when I actually figured out how I was going to end the book, so the rest of it is other drama/buildup or you could just call it filler, I think my writing is pretty entertaining though.

You went through a lot of different phases, like most kids; wanting to be a video game designer to computer engineer to software architect. You're most ambitious dream was to become a high ranking cybersecurity specialist. Maybe work for the government one day, make a difference. Change the world. Leave a mark, a good one. Your mark. Oh, how sweet and naïve you were. That spark was crushed and stomped into a capitalist-shaped curb, pushed aside until what was left was a perfect little cog to fit into a machine. You work at a grocery store, the customer service industry a cruelty that destroys all hope for humanity, at least it did for you. Years of misuse, abuse from customers and staff alike colding your once warm, beating heart. You took the brunt of whatever crap corporate wanted dealt with, cleaned up whatever mess your incompetent co-workers left behind; be it calling out "sick" last minute to doing stock take incorrectly. It all fell onto you, the managers far to busy to help their supervisor. You were crushed, utterly and completely, and it was only a matter of time until you gave out. "Soo, come here often?" It's awkward. It's clumsy. But at least it's something. Shadow stares back, ruby eyes unblinking and boring into your own. His muzzle pulls back, scrunching at the bridge of his nose as he regards the absurdity of what you just asked. Welcome all! To a new adventure that awaits with my OC Niki! Encounter countless journeys with friends and team as she discovers more what it's like to be a hero! (Storyline will make a lot more sense if you read my other two stories first) 😁 Ep1: Sonic finds himself to be in a large scaley pickle when he finds out he is wanted as a snack. Ep2: Niki is finally in the scene as she reigns back to school just to spend time with her friends. Ep3: Niki and Tails build a literal time machine and what awaits for them on the other side are two beloved characters. Ep4: We continue the adventure with Silver and Blaze. Ep5: Niki gets a little side tracked in the woods only when a pack of wolves finds her and she is actually able to understand them. Ep6: Silver and Blaze enter Sonic's dimension after so long. Ep7: Mephiles is finally free from prison and Niki looses her crystal. What happens next, becomes dangerous. Ep8: With Mephiles being free he plans on using Niki to rid all the heros. Ep9: Niki decides to have the school put on a show to help raise money. Ep10: Niki discovers another ancient and this ancient isn't friendly. Ep11: Lyric finds out a mysterious villain that he soon learns to cope with. Ep12: Niki is curious on her brothers heroic past. It's only a matter of when Sonic decides to show off his collection over the years. Ep13: A guys day out becomes something sad about Silver's past. Ep14: Mephiles finally gets a pinpoint on where Iblis is. Ep15: Jeffery is greeted by one of his old friends, but what he doesn't realize is that his old pal wants Niki. Learn to Open Up. (Shadouge) (COMPLETE)
Five weeks ago, E123-Omega went on a routine mission. The mission, to destroy an old abandoned Eggman base. But, he hasn't returned yet. Commander Towers has called Agent Shadow and Agent Rouge in to find their missing partner, and bring him back safely. Shadow, however, hasn't been acting normal lately, and Rouge is worried for his health. And now cant seem to keep her feelings for the dark hedgehog secret much longer. Will Shadow finally catch on to all the subtle hints his teammate has been sending his way? Will the duo find Omega? You'll have to read to find out. So I know this opening is written really cliche, and the title really isn't the best. And I have changed it to be rated mature. There will be some lemons, although I'm going to build into and probably only do the one, since that really isn't the point of the story. And I'm probably going to make it to where if you don't to read that, I'll put it all into a chapter that will have no big impact on the story, so it can be easily skipped. So i wanted to take a crack at making a Shadouge story myself. I feel as though I can be a good writer, I just have some things I need to touch up on. I'm going to try to make this better than my ShadAmy story (which I still like, I just rushed the relationship to much, and really screwed up the ending I feel). Anyways, the point of rambling, is that I want constructive criticism for this story. I want to make sure it is the best I can do for the community that likes this ship. So any advice on future chapters, along with just general improvements to the story that you all think I could make.
