HSMTMTS: The Core Four
Ricky Bowen, Nini Salazar-Roberts, E.J. Caswell, and Gina Porter are a group of friends that are part of a bigger group of friends. Their all enrolled at East High and their lives have completely different lives and personalities. Nini has it well living with her two moms and grandmother, she's trying to pursue her love for singing, but her insecurity keeps getting in the way, no matter how hard she tries. He's accepted his brutal situation, but a part of him still wants to escape from his abuse and begin again. When they get caught in an explosion and a freak accident at a science lab during a field trip, they all gain unique and special abilities and are introduced to a whole new world, a world of superheroes. With the help of a few new friends and family, they are able to gain control of their new powers. What happens when a new upcoming villain threatens their city and these four are forced to put their powers to the test? These four must overcome new challenges to protect their secret as exciting discoveries are made, family secrets are exposed, and unexpected feelings arise.
