Varian is given a mysterious journal for their birthday, which holds information about "Demanitus's Seven Trials". Varian decides to go on a journey around the seven kingdoms to complete the trials themself- For both him and his mom. 

He meets several friends- and enemies- along the way, and many new questions are brought to light.
