"Ah shit, I missed the real target." Wilbur works for an agency that kills people, particularly rich people. But while on a mission when he almost dies, he is saved by someone with a very accurate shot. He meets another assasin from a different agency, something he's never knew of before. Of course seeing the skill and attractiveness he can't really just let him go... Quackity works for a different agency that seeks to be better than all the rest, that means more missions and more training, most importantly more money. It takes a very long time to get up in the ranks and he has spent much time there. But when tasked to kill a particular dangerous assasin he realizes he might not be a threat at all, until he gets captured that is.

So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. Perhaps someone out there could make him feel himself again. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. After uploading all of this from my notebook, I now realize how short this story really was and that the chapters are below 1,000 words, which is different for me considering I'm a pretty detailed writer... regardless, this one is for all of the readers who like shorter stories with a smaller amount of parts!

"Whoever falls inlove first loses. You must try your best to make the other fall for you. If you lose, I get to be vice president AND yours. My treat."
