Late nights balling my eyes out aren't as rare as they should...more like a ritual at this point!
But that night was different, breathing was painful as always but I no longer tried, clawing at my chest didn't stop the pressure that kept building and my vision was blurry with tears. To tell you how bad I was, on my way home from work I was no longer able to keep that everlasting smile and please everyone, I just stared deep into space praying my tears would hold until I got home.
Curled up on the ground my back resting against the wall, unable to get any farther. My first day meeting the new boss had been a nightmare in all posible ways, I only prayed to disappear from this universe and go somewhere I could feel safe...
Apparently my prayer got answered because upon opening my eyes I was no longer at home, familiar voices calling me.
