The Water Witches

Hali believed herself to just be a standard girl from her small human village on the east coast of America. Growing up in Rhode Island by the continent's edge she's always had a fear of the water. When she was little she almost drowned and could never forget the feeling of desperation trying to reach the ocean's surface. Now 18 years later she finds herself waking up at the edge of the docks in town. She never knows how she gets there, but every time she wakes up closer and closer to the edge of the dock. And thats only the surface of her problems. She' noticing weird things happening around her, or more so from her. Objects moving on their own, her own body defying physics. It isn't until a mysterious middle age woman shows up offering a full-ride scholarship to study at the most prestigious magik academia in the world: Divinia, that Hali can finally find answers as to why despite her anxiety of the water she can't help by find herself in its chilling grasp.
