The boiling Isles.
They are stinky, gross, scary and you live on the corpse of a dead Titan.
But for Alithia, it was home.
It had its perks, like the magic that was in almost everything.
But it also had its downs.
Many downs.
Rain that boils you alive, demons that try to eat you and an Emperor that rules the isles with an iron fist and banned the free use of magic.
But when Alithia meets the human girl Luz, she is, together with her best friends, pulled into an life-changing adventure.

That should leave her absolutely devastated and hopeless, but Alithia knew two things for certain.
One, she was a terrible Oracle, so it would be very unlikely to have the first prophecy that was right to be one of eternal doom.
And second, her best friend just smuggled a human inside the school and if Alithia was correct, and she usually was about that sort of thing, the human was the apprentice of Eda the Owl Lady, the most wanted criminal of the boiling Isles. Finally something of importance happened in this school.
